WELCOME
Good morning, dear brothers and sisters in Christ!
As we gather on this 8th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we are reminded of God’s unwavering faithfulness and His call for us to trust in His providence. Today’s readings invite us to reflect on the depth of His love and care for us, urging us to place our worries and anxieties in His hands. In a world often filled with uncertainty, we are encouraged to seek first the Kingdom of God,
trusting that He will provide for all our needs.
Let us open our hearts to His Word, which reminds us that we are precious in His sight and that He will never abandon us. As we celebrate this Eucharist, let us give thanks for His boundless
mercy and ask for grace to live as faithful witnesses of His love in our daily lives.
Let us now prepare ourselves to enter this sacred celebration, offering our
prayers, our joys, and our struggles to the Lord, who sustains us always.
Today, we offer this Holy Mass for the repose of the soul of Burl Daken. We commend him to the infinite mercy of God, asking that he may be welcomed into the eternal peace and joy of our Heavenly Father. As we gather in prayer, we remember Burl’s life, his love, and the impact he had on all who knew him. May the Lord grant him forgiveness for any sins he may
have committed and bring him into the light of His presence.
Let us also pray for Burl’s family and friends that they may find comfort in the hope of the Resurrection and the promise of eternal life. May the love of Christ
surround them during this time of loss and bring them peace.
PRAYER REQUESTS
If you have joy or concern, please let us know by calling the parish office or sending us an email. We will be able to pray for you at the mass next weekend. Let us pray in a special
way for Cara Kureth that God may grant her healing and be with her family.

Ash Wednesday mass will be at 7 pm. You are invited to participate as we
begin the journey of lent.

This mass is celebrated for the intentions of all gathered here today, that the Lord may pour out His abundant blessings upon each of them. May the Lord bless families with unity and love, inspire our young people with courage and wisdom, and fill our elders with peace and contentment. May the Lord bless us all with good health. As we come together in faith as one community, may the grace of God renew and strengthen us all, drawing us ever closer to Him and to one another.
